ian wins btcv green hero award

One of our service users has received an award for his commitment to recycling.
Ian has been a valued member of the Preston branch of the British Trust Conservation Volunteers (BTCV) team that has travelled around Lancashire working on hundreds of conservation projects. Projects have ranged from clearing ponds in freezing cold Thornton, to building boardwalks in the summer sun at Broughton High.
Come rain or shine, Ian has attended BTCV almost every week for just under three years and shows little sign of stopping. He has always been a keen recycler and was nominated for the award by his local BTCV Officer Hilary Sakeld.
Ian was given a BTCV Green Hero t-shirt and mug in recognition of his achievements.
